2020 Lamborghini Huracan. Is it worthy?

Lamborghini Huracan.

What comes to your mind when you think of ‘A sports car’? I’m pretty sure one of the images of sports cars is a Lamborghini. A Huracan comes to my mind for sure, to say the least. Lamborghini has been one of the most top-notch automakers in the market since the time it was established. It is one of the most worthy competitors to its Italian rival automaker Ferrari. Both these companies have been all-time rivals in the sports car community.

Lamborghini is also an Italian automotive manufacturer. The company has seen tremendous growth since the time it was acquired by Audi. The brand has gained a tremendous fan following since the release of Lamborghini Gallardo. The company’s vision has always been to produce high-performance quality cars that leave an ever-lasting impression on the audience and appeal to their consumers.

One such model from the Italian automaker is the Lamborghini Huracan. Huracan has been one of the most top-selling high-performance vehicles from the Lamborghini line-up. It was unveiled in 2014 in the ‘Geneva Auto Show’ for the first time to the worldwide audience. The car received enormous love from all across the globe. Every car enthusiast was willing to have their hands on the new high-performance vehicle. And, with time, the car has lived up to every expectation of its consumers. The model has gained all the name and fame every brand wishes their product to receive.

Huracan came as a replacement to the all-time favourite Lamborghini Gallardo. This 2-door coupe was in tremendous demand when it was released and for years to come. This beast is powered by a naturally aspirated 5.2-litre V10 engine which can produce up to 610 hp. The 7-speed dual-clutch transmission makes Huracan one of the most powerful vehicles in its segment.

Road tests prove Huracan’s worthiness in the market. The road acceleration tests by ‘Top Gear Magazine’ are as follows-

0-97 km/h in just 2.5 seconds.

0-300 km/h at an astonishing speed of just 27.6 seconds.

The car can gain a top speed of up to 341 km/hr.

To improve the handling and performance of such a great machine, the engine has been placed in the middle of the vehicle.

Huracan Evo.

After the tremendous success of Huracan from 2014, the car received an update in 2019. The all-new aggressive machine was termed as Lamborghini Huracan Evo. The car came with integrated aero blades which improved Huracan’s downforce. The engine was tuned to produce 601 N-m of torque with the same amount of horsepower as before. The interior was also improved and the ride became more comfortable than before.

Automotive enthusiasts seem quite impressed as well as satisfied with the upgrade till now. The vehicle has lived up to all the hype that was created around it. And, without a doubt, Huracan Evo is worthy of all the attention it gets, be it on the tracks or autobahns. Lamborghini Huracan Evo seems to be a promising model as of now. We believe that the car will stay reliable and promising in the upcoming years as well. It is also, the entry-level vehicle in the Lamborghini lineup. Not only this, but Huracan Evo’s performance also justifies its not-so-hefty price tag (when it comes to entry-level sports cars).

Lamborghini Huracan has proved its worthiness among the sports cars industry since the time it was released in 2014. Not only this, but it has also evolved as a ‘loved by all, hated by none’ car, with time. Doesn’t matter whether you’re a Lamborghini fan or a Ferrari supporter, you have to admire the thrill Lamborghini Huracan Evo Spyder makes you feel when you sit behind its steering wheel.
